Before you start to use the Talkit, we may ask you onboarding questions about your gender, native language, foreign language level, hobbies, or other questions. If you choose to answer these questions, we may collect and process your answers to these questions mainly in order to customize our services (for example, for suggesting topics for conversation with the AI based chatbot or if you consent, for sending push notifications as a reminder at your preferred times). It is entirely up to you to decide whether or not to answer these questions or provide any information to us. If you wish, you can use the application without answering these onboarding questions and without providing such information.   We may ask for your permission to access your device’s camera and audio recording tools, in order to provide certain services, when you are using Talkit, such as to enable you to make a voice call or video call with an AI-generated chatbot. You can choose not to allow us to access your camera and audio recording tools by either rejecting our access or later disabling such access in your mobile device settings. However, you may not be able to use certain aspects of our services if you choose to opt out.   We do not store your voice calls and video calls that you made through Talkit on our servers, rather they are stored on your devices. However, we do temporarily store your voice calls until we process them for you. Your voice call recordings are deleted from our servers within 24 hours of transcription. Please do not share any content that might have sensitive personal information. Furthermore, please be advised that the provision of any financial information, social security numbers, health information, images of other individuals, any information on children, or any other sensitive or confidential information via Talkit is strictly prohibited. Please note that we do store your user content, in accordance with this Privacy Policy and relevant legislation, especially in order to be able to provide services. At any time, you can request the deletion of this information. Your other rights regarding this information are outlined in detail in this Privacy Policy. |
